Five acute medical consultants:
New leadership and investment at North Cumbria Integrated Care has created an opportunity for 5 new acute medical consultants. The consultants will be integral to the redesign of our acute medicine and frailty services focussing on admission avoidance.
New funding will mean we can facilitate early senior decision making, expand SDEC facilities and advise from the point of referral in our new single point of access hub. Our location means we are leading the way in integration in rural and coastal medicine across our Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centres and community services.
