Our service provides a comprehensive range of specialist care, including IBD, Hepatology, HPB, bowel cancer screening, supported by a 24/7 GI bleed rota and consultant of the week model.
Endoscopy services span 2 acute sites, including a new £15m, 5-room, state-of-the-art JAG accredited endoscopy unit, delivering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ERCP.
You will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team with strong links across surgical specialties, radiology and oncology, delivering integrated care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. There is flexibility to develop subspecialty interests and portfolio roles, alongside opportunities in leadership, medical education and research.
With a new medical school in Carlisle and an active research and innovation programme, you will be supported to teach, lead and contribute to service development.
