Behavioral and Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics eg Autism, ADHD
After my MBBS and Paediatrics post graduation (MD) in India, I worked in Paediatrics in Nepal before moving to the UK. I did my MRCP & MRCPCH in 1996 and M Med Sci in Child Health in 2008 from the University of Leeds.
After working in General Paediatrics and Neonatology in different Hospitals in the UK, I have been working in Community Paedaitrics since 2008. I moved to Cumbria in 2017 as Consultant Community Paediatrician.
I also facilitated the transfer of Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and the Child Protection Recognition and Response (CPRR) Courses to Kanti Children Hospital, Kathmandu with partnership and funding from Child Advocacy International, So The Child May Live and Health Exchange Nepal, UK. I am also an executive member of the George Still Forum-Specialty Interest Group for ADHD in children of the Royal College of Paediatrics.
I enjoy team working particularly for the children with complex behavioral and neuro developmental problems.
Kindness. I believe all the 4 values are complementary to each other. As a Paedaitrician I particularly value the kindness and respect to the children and the parents I work with.
