- acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- metabolic disturbance
- same day emergency care provision.
I qualified from the Newcastle University in 2003, and undertook training jobs across the region from Middlesbrough to Carlisle, leading to Certificate of Completion of Training in General Internal Medicine and Renal Medicine in 2012. Following my Consultant Certification I undertook a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine at the Institute for Transplantation at the Freeman Hospital before joining the trust in October 2013 in my current role as Consultant in Renal and Acute Medicine. I was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2019.
I really enjoy working as part of a team to deliver specialist care in a prompt manner.
Collaboration. In the delivery of high quality medical care collaboration is an exceptionally important value, both in our collaboration within the team, but above all collaboration with patients and the people close to them.
