Since her appointment as Chief Nurse, Anna has been successful in securing over 140 international nurses that will improve our nurse staffing position, has led the vaccination programme for health and care workers and has developed our quality & safety and nursing & midwifery strategies. She has also led our nurses through the darkest days of the pandemic. 

Anna said: “I’ve enjoyed the last six years in Cumbria, the last year in particular has been challenging. I am sorry to be leaving, but I’m looking forward to spending more time with family and friends and I wish everyone well on their journey of improvement.”
