Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), Workington
The £19m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), which is set to open in Spring 2025, will offer MRI, CT and ultrasound scanning for patients across north Cumbria and will be located in Workington town centre.
Endoscopy unit, Carlisle
A £15m endoscopy unit is being built in the grounds of the Cumberland infirmary, which is expected to open in the Spring of 2025. The new build will include five clinical rooms that all meet modern standards as well as an outpatients area.
