The Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) of North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be held jointly again this year, following the success of the online event last year.

Members of the public are invited to join a digital version of the AMM and AGM taking place on Tuesday 2nd November, 2.30pm to 3.30pm through an MS teams live event.

The event provides an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the achievements of both organisations between 1st April 2020 and 31st March 2021, the current financial position, reflections on the Covid-19 pandemic and plans for the future.

The AMM will also be a great opportunity for NCIC members and everyone with an interest in the provision of local healthcare services to find out more about what has been going on.

The meeting will be a valuable chance for people to put their own questions to members of  the Trust Board of Directors and CCG Governing Body and give their views about the services provided.

Members of the public can submit questions in advance to the Corporate Governance Team at NCIC; please email questions to: corporate.governance@ncic.nhs.uk or for the CCG at Enquiries@northcumbriaccg.nhs.uk by no later than noon on Monday 26th October.  Peter Scott

There will be presentations on the Annual Report and Accounts 2020/21 published on the organisations’ websites in advance along with the link for anyone wishing to join.

Peter Scott, chair of NCIC said:

“We were pleased to see members of the Trust and the general public joining the event last year. While we will provide information about our activities, we are keen to ensure the focus is on answering your questions - so please submit these to us in advance if you can, or you can ask us on the day.”

Jon Rush, chair of NHS North Cumbria CCG, said: “This annual event gives us the chance to update our community on our work over the last 12 months and this year we’ll be reflecting on the impact of covid on our health and care services - what we have learned and will be keeping for the future. It’s important to ensure we regularly talk with our community about how things are working. It is only by working together that we’ll deliver the best health care for people in north Cumbria.”

The live, online event will take place on the Microsoft Teams platform on Tuesday 2nd November, 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Join the Annual Members Meeting.
