Tammie Dobie, Lead Lung Cancer Screening Navigator, has won a regional award for going the extra mile.
Tammie was nominated by Vicky Lamonby, who described Tammie as positive, with a can-do attitude, is approachable and always looking for ways to help, even during times of high pressure. In addition, Tammie considers ways to improve the pathway for patients who typically may struggle to engage.
Tammie was nominated into the Northern Cancer Alliance Award in the category 'Going the Extra Mile'.
