Euros health column: enjoy the games and behave responsibly
A key figure in the emergency department at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust hopes Euro 2024 will be enjoyed safely and peacefully. Both England and Scotland are in this year’s football tournament in Germany with both teams having already played their first games.

School Aged Immunisation Programme
The School Aged Immunisation Team is responsible for delivering the immunisation programme to school-aged children in Cumbria. Our specially trained team is made up of nurses, support staff and apprentices.

Podiatry
The Podiatry team assess and treat people with foot or lower leg issues. They assist those whose needs go beyond self-management. Podiatrists keep people mobile and active by improving function, relieving pain, and treating infections.

Hospital services will be affected by upcoming industrial action by resident doctors. Resident doctors will exercise their right to strike over five days from 7am Friday 25th July until 7am Wednesday 30th July 2025.

Best Value Medicine Policy
This policy outlines how best value medicines should be used to treat patients at NCIC.
Controlled Drugs Policy
This policy defines the mandatory requirements of the Trust with regard to all aspects of the handling of Controlled Drugs (CD).
High Risk Injectable Medicines Policy
The aim of this policy is to standardise practice and manage the risks with respect to the prescribing, preparation, administration and monitoring of high risk injectable medicines.
Medical Gas and Medical Pipeline System Policy
