Health Visiting

The Health Visiting service is made up of a team of specialist nurses who offer advice and guidance to parents with children aged 0 to 5 years old.

Infant feeding and relationship building

Information and support to help, guide and prepare you and four family through the antenatal preparation, meeting baby, building a close and loving relationship and feeding your baby.

Public Health 5 to 19

The Public Health 5 to 19 Nursing service is responsible for promoting good health and lifestyle improvement among children and young people aged 5 to 19. We also offer support children and young people who have low level or emerging health or development problems.

School Aged Immunisation Programme

The School Aged Immunisation Team is responsible for delivering the school based immunisation programme in Cumbria. Our specially trained team is made up of clinical leads, nurses, support staff and apprentices.

Strengthening Families

The Strengthening Families service is made up from health visitors, school nurses, learning disability nurses and midwives who work together with you to support your whole family when you need it most.

Child Health Information System (CHIS)

CHIS manages all the health information we collect relating to children and young people up to the age of 19. The service also makes sure that children and young people receive their appointments for screening and immunisation programmes at the right age.
