Christmas Wall of Hope Tree.jpgA project to brighten up people’s spirits this Christmas has been launched by North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The Christmas Wall of Hope is a place where people can share their festive drawings, paintings, poems and stories.

There will be Christmas Walls of Hope at the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital and our community sites too.

Elaine Crooks, Patient Experience & Involvement Lead at NCIC, said: “We know Christmas is different this year as we are unable to have traditional decorations on our wards and carol services in our hospitals.

“We are asking people to send us some Christmas pictures that we can put up as part of a display in our atriums to cheer our staff who will be working over the festive period.”

Any picture, drawing or painting submitted will be laminated prior to display.

Entries can be sent to PALS@ncic.nhs.uk

And entries for our community sites at Brampton, Penrith, Alston, Wigton, Cockermouth, Maryport and Workington can be posted direct.
