A new drop-in prayer meeting will be held in the chapel at the Cumberland Infirmary on Thursdays at 2.15pm.
Chaplain Barrie Thomas said: "The prayer meeting is open to anyone to attend, staff, patients, relatives and supporters.
"It has the express purpose of praying for our hospital, its staff, its facilities and the needs of its patients."
The new session starts on Thursday, February 6.
