Funding boost to help keep patients connected
NHS England and NHS Improvement Volunteering Services Fund has allocated £16,414 to the Trust to recruit new - and retain existing - volunteers as part of the Keeping Patients Connected project.

Visiting update
We recently opened up more visiting to adult inpatient wards across the Trust, by making an appointment with the ward directly. There are some wards who are not able to accept visitors by appointment as they are admission or short stay wards. Read more for details.

Cumbria A&E training rated best
North Cumbria Integrated Care (NCIC) has been rated as one of the best places for trainee doctors to complete their Emergency Medicine training in a recent survey. The Emergency Department has been ranked 16th nationally for training out of over 200 Trusts across the UK.
