Child Development

The Child Development team provides specialist advice to support children, young people, parents, carers, schools, nurseries, health visitors, childminders and charities. Our services include Speech and Language, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology.

Children's Audiology

The Children’s Audiology team diagnose and treat hearing related disorders in children and young people up to the age of 19. We do hearing tests and give advice about hearing problems.

Children's Community Nursing

We are a specialist nursing team who provide care to children and young people. We deliver most of our services in people's homes. We also work in nurseries, schools, and local clinics.

Children's Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists help children and young people who have difficulty doing everyday activities. This can be things like getting dressed, school work or playing.

Children’s Physiotherapy

The Children’s Physiotherapy team help to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. We treat children and young people up to the age of 19.

Children's Speech and Language Therapy

We work with children and young people up to the age of 19 who have speech, language or communication needs. We can also help if your child has difficulties with eating, drinking or swallowing.

Community Paediatrics

The Community Paediatrics service cares for children and young people up to the age of 18. We specialise in helping children with developmental problems and other complex health needs.

Diabetic Eye Screening

The screening test detects eye problems caused by diabetes, before they start to affect your sight.

Home First

The Home First team is made up of nurses, therapists, social care and voluntary sector workers. We make sure you get the care and support you need to return home as quickly and safely as possible.
