Home Oxygen

If you have a long term condition and your doctor thinks oxygen therapy might helpful, you’ll be referred to the Home Oxygen Service for an assessment. We prescribe, review and support patients who receive oxygen therapy at home.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department diagnose and treat children and adults with diseases that affect the mouth, jaws, face and neck. We work closely with specialists from other services such as Ear, Nose and Throat, Orthodontics, and Oncology.

Neurology

The Neurology service diagnoses, treats and manages disorders that affect the nervous system. We are also involved in clinical research, clinical trials, as well as basic research and translational research.

Ophthalmology (eye care)

The Ophthalmology service cares for adults and children who have eye conditions. We perform several types of eye surgery such as laser treatment and cataract surgery. We can also help you manage long term eye diseases.

Tissue Viability Nurses

Tissue Viability service provides specialist advice and care to patients with complex wounds. We work in partnership with you, helping you to look after your wounds and prevent the risk of future skin damage.

Urgent treatment centre

An urgent treatment centre (UTC) is a facility you can go to if you need urgent medical attention, but it's not a life-threatening situation. UTCs are equipped to diagnose and treat many of the most common ailments people go to A&E for.
